Nancy L. Choate, Attorney

Nancy and her family reside in Jackson where she is active in the community. Her community involvement includes:

• Past President of the Jackson Exchange Club and 2009 Exchangite of the Year
• Past member of the Central Board of The Carl Perkins Child Abuse Prevention Center.
• Leadership Jackson Alumni Association.
• Union University Foundation Trustee.
• 2018 Sterling Award recipient recognizing the 20 most influential women in West Tennessee.
• University of Tennessee at Martin Alumni Council.
• Jackson Symphony Board of Directors.

Nancy and her husband of over 40 years, Curtis, are active members of the Jackson Community. Curtis, a recently retired teacher, now serves as office manager for the law firm. They have two children, Anna, a graduate of Union University who now lives in Louisville, Kentucky, and Will, a graduate of Union University  and the University of Tennessee School of Law who is employed as a Research Services and Instructional Law Librarian at Chicago Kent School of Law and lives in Chicago, Illinois. Curtis and Nancy enjoy traveling with their children and grandchildren as well as supporting the performing arts.

Angela Snider,  Of Counsel Attorney

Angela Snider is a lifelong resident of Madison County and graduate of Jackson Central-Merry High School, Lambuth University, and The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Karl, for 28 years.  They have a daughter Kaylee who is a senior at Samford University, and a son Cole who is a sophomore at Trinity Christian Academy.  Their family also includes Lydia Brown, who is pursuing her Masters Degree at University of Memphis and Atlas McCready, who is in kindergarten at Denmark Elementary School. 

 For the past 24 years, Angela has served many local families through her law practice including estate planning and adoptions.  Angela recently shifted the focus of her law practice to exclusively estate planning and elder law.  She is passionate about helping her clients prepare for their future and alleviate any unnecessary stress on the ones they leave behind.  

 Angela has been recognized with numerous awards at the local and state level for her pro bono service to the community, including a program she co-founded that helps low income families obtain conservatorships for their adult children with special needs.  

 She and Karl own two wedding venues, The Barn at Snider Farms and The Venue at Twin Oaks, where they host many nonprofit and ministry events.

 Angela serves as the Leadership Board Chairman for Southwest Tennessee Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).  She is a natural encourager and has served as the Union University Volleyball FCA character coach for 6 years. She believes in the power of relationships and the impact of truly living life together.  

 Angela and Fran Thomas co-host a weekly podcast “Rambling Through Everyday Life with Fran & Angela” where they ramble authentically about life, faith, and finding humor in every situation.

 Angela also serves on the board for Kane’s Gift, a local nonprofit that awards grants to families pursuing adoption.

 Angela and her family attend Fellowship Bible Church.  Her favorite hobby is spending time on the farm with her family and their many pets including a one-eyed Golden Retriever and a swan named Mick Swagger.

Elizabeth Greene,  Of Counsel Attorney

Elizabeth grew up in Jackson, TN. She received a scholarship to pursue her undergraduate studies at Rhodes College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree with a major in International Studies & Political Science and a minor in History. Elizabeth was awarded an academic fellowship to attend the prestigious Notre Dame Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 2011. She had the privilege of participating in the esteemed Concannon Programme of International Law at Notre Dame, further expanding her knowledge and understanding of global legal matters.  Elizabeth is an experienced estate planning attorney whose practice focuses on estate planning, probate, and trust administration.

Elizabeth is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Estate Planning and Probate Section, and the Nashville Bar Association.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys  reading, going to the park with her rescued miniature schnauzer, Klara, and painting abstract art.
